Oppo officially unveiled Oppo N3 with rotating camera

Oppo is onto something. Oppo just announced their N1 successor. Oppo N3... with rotating camera... perfect for selfie enthusiasts.

Oppo N1 has a 16MP motorized camera which helps to track moving objects. The camera sensor is 1/2.3" in size and it uses Schneider Kreuznach-certified lens.



The camera is capable of rotating upto 206 degrees. So it tracks moving objects in it's frame. Panorama shots will be quite interesting in this device. Panorama shots will be of 64MP atmost. As this is the age of selfies, the rotating camera can be of great advantage to take stunning selfies in 16MP resolution!




There are also tons of camera features such as slow shutter, ultra macro mode, manual control, after focus and much more. Also, the device is capable of capturing RAW images which Oppo brings through what they call 'Ultra Image 2.0'. There is also a fingerprint sensor at the back which allows to protect images immediately after taking them with just a swipe. Other camera features include 4K video shooting @ 30 fps, 1080p @ 60 fps, 720p @120 fps (slow motion).


In the hardware department, Oppo N3 features a quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AA) that is clocked upto 2.3 GHz and Krait 400 GPU. In a 5.5" FHD resolution, this device gives a decent pixel density of 400ppi. On the memory side, 2GB of RAM and 32GB if internal storage is available.



The powerhouse of Oppo N3 features a 3,000mAh Li-Po battery which is capable of company's VOOC rapid charging technology which enables the battery to be charged from 0 to 75% in just 30 minutes! There is a unique notification light below the N3 screen which is more comfortable and stylish than any other Oppo devices.

This new flagship device will be a great hit around selfie enthusiasts. Oppo N3 will be made available worldwide by the end of 2014 for a retail price of $649.
